Paul Thomas Cline, AIA, LEED AP BD+C Paul Cline was born and raised in Nevada. He spent two years at the US Air Force Academy before relocating to New Orleans where he earned his Bachelors and Masters of Architecture at Tulane University. He was fortunate his program focused on urbanism which led him to study in Paris, Barcelona, Nice, Venice, Vienna, and Basil. He recently completed a Masters in Construction Management at UNLV where he produced a paper on transitioning traditional construction firms to Design-Build construction. Paul is also interested in examining how Play impacts creativity, innovation, and productivity and how the elements reciprocal to Play can be embodied in the built environment. Paul is licensed as an architect in the state of Nevada, working full-time in construction management as Project Manager for M J Dean Construction. By understanding architecture and construction well Paul provides excellent designs and valuable solutions. Paul’s past design projects include schools, churches, commercial buildings, offices, retail spaces for small businesses and restaurants. He managed construction of The Pearl at the Palms (p.13) theater which won Best Casino Project of 2007 from Southwest Contractor and he just opened the new pool at the Hard Rock Hotel. Last fall he was awarded the 2009 AIA Nevada Young Architect Award. |
